Camel Surprise

Filed under: Personal — Tags: — uktw @ 8:13 am

And the surprise is drinking a bottle of Camel Valley Brut and finding that its at least the equal to real champagnes of around the same price point and a good deal better than many fizzes … and it is from Cornwall. I shouldn’t be surprised that the UK can produce decent wines of course, but my past experience of them has involved paying over the odds – not this time. Excellent value, good nose, lovely light taste – a great summer fizz by any standard.
