Happy May Day …

Filed under: London, Personal, SeatChoice, Theatre and Tickets — Tags: , , , , — uktw @ 4:48 pm

Happy May Day everyone … hope you’re having a good one. I’m having a quiet one, ticket sales wise – strange, April was excellent then along came May 1st and sales dropped right off. Nevertheless, there’s some great shows out there so here are some chances to win tickets (sorry, these are both in London – SeatChoice actually covers the whole of the UK so maybe we’ll have non-London competitions later!).

Blog Competition

Comment on this blog entry and tell me why I should give you two tickets to see Joseph in the West End on 26th May 2009 (Upper Circle). The tickets are sitting on my desk, bought through SeatChoice – they’re genuine and will go to you by first class post well in time for the performance. I will decide by the end of next week who the lucky winner is and blog it here (Winner will need to contact me with their address!).

Another Chance to Win!

There’s a chance to win a pair of tickets to see Thriller! – Live if you sign up for the SeatChoice Newsletter – see details on the  SeatChoice homepage.

Tickets are for 30th June and the draw takes place on 1st June.

What a laugh

Not sure why, but this week, comedy tickets have really taken off on our site (SeatChoice), in fact, for the first time comedy is the second highest earning genre.

I suspect its because we have tickets to Eddie Izzard, Bill Bailey, Steve Coogan and the ever popular French and Saunders all available.

Dr Who? Hamlet of course

David Tennant

David Tennant

David Tennant and Patrick Stewart star from today in the RSC’s production of Hamlet in Stratford upon Avon.

Want tickets? You’re far from alone! Tickets sold out ages ago and there’s a huge queue for returns so don’t hold your breathe!

Normally, I wouldn’t recommend the secondary ticket market myself by in cases like this it really is your best, if not only, option – if you’re prepared to pay enough the tickets can be obtained. Try TicketsCabin for eBay tickets and SeatChoice for other suppliers. Good luck!

Look out, understudies about!
